Easter

To me as a child, Easter meant finding eggs and candy, eating with our family, and that dreaded bunny pic. As an adult, my view of this holiday has drastically changed.

I've always known the true meaning of Easter. I learned that in church as a child. But, to my secular parents, Easter was about the bunny stuff.

Every year since re-dedicating my life to The Lord, holidays have had more and more meaning. Easter is about so much more than baskets and bunnies. It's about God, who loves His people so much, that He sent his only Son to be born and to sacrifice His life on a cross in order to pay the price for our sins in death as well as fulfilling the prophecies through His resurrection so that one day we can go to Heaven to be with Him.

I want my children to know this!! The TRUE meaning of Easter.

"He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead! Remember what he told you back in Galilee, that the Son of Man must be betrayed into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and that he would rise again on the third day.” (Luke 24:6, 7 NLT)

Celebrate the true meaning of Easter this year, the Risen Jesus!!

I'm back

Daily Bible Verse - John 3:21
"But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants."

Hello.

It's been a while since my last post. Life has been so busy lately. We completed our kitchen remodel and then the pesky cold/flu arrived at our house. It seemed to go away for a week then come right back.

We received some bad news here and there and had a few fallouts. Between that and what seems to be non-stop rain, I was starting to get down.

Then things started to look up. We are all feeling better, the bad news turned into blessings in disguise, God has removed negative people from our lives, and He has brought people back into my life that I have missed so very much. (Sigh of relief)

Things seem to be falling into place again. I was talking with a dear friend, whom I've just recently re-connected with, about how difficult it is at times to trust God. We hand Him our problems confidently and then in a scared moment, we take that worry back and try to rely on ourselves once again.

It never works. I always run back to God's loving arms asking Him to guide me once again. I'm so glad He never turns me away!!

"No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening—it’s painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way." ~ (Hebrews 12:11)

I've been praying alot lately about different things and one of them is Facebook. To keep or not to keep?...
I'm still praying about it but I want you to know that I might be deleting it sooner than later so if you like receiving my blog, please subscribe to it so you can stay in touch.

I plan on blogging every weekday again really soon as things are settling down again.

I appreciate you and your feedback. If there is a topic you would like me to talk about, please feel free to email me your ideas.
